April 2019 in Review

It is now May, and it is time to review April. April was a fast month, and wasn’t filled with many highlights. I will still try to talk about the highlights it did have.

Easter

  • I love it when Easter happens. This Easter, my family was with friends- the entire group was around 17 people. We decorated eggs, had dinner, and it was an enjoyable time.

Les Mis Masterpiece Series

  • April was the beginning of the Masterpiece Les Mis series on PBS. It started on the 14, and my family made it through three episodes. I was used to the musical that I had no idea how this series would turn out. I had no idea the order in which the events would happens- of course it would be in a similar order, but kind of different. There were no songs- something I wasn’t used to- I was wondering how I can enjoy Les Misérables without the songs. I am really enjoying how the series turned out- even if I am not hearing the people sing. It is still the same story and the same characters. I am still emotionally affected- after all I formed an emotional connection from the musical. What this series does is focus on elements that we never saw in the musical- as in go deeper in the story.
