- For context- this happens after Misty found Sparkle in Graysloup the first time (Misty was looking for Sparkle because it was time for the Fairy Frogs to move). Sarge ended up throwing rocks at both girls and called one of Sparkle’s drawings ugly.
Little did Sarge know that someone was watching him mistreat Sparkle and Misty. That toad was Marge, Sarge’s younger cousin, and she did not like how Sarge treated the Fairy Frogs, or how he treated the toads. She just saw him throw the rock, and call Sparkle’s drawing ugly. She knew what she had to do, and that was to stand up to her cousin.
Marge did this on multiple occasions, but Sarge was always harsh with her. She always suggested moving the toads away from Graysloup and into a better location. Sarge now noticed that Marge was watching him from a distance, and Marge could see the anger in his face now.
“Sarge, I saw what you did. How many times have I told you to leave those frogs alone? When have they ever hurt you?”, said Marge.
“I can do whatever I want, and you better start acting like a toad”, demanded Sarge.
“Stop telling me to act like a “toad”. I don’t think it is right to be rude and disrespectful, and if acting like a toad means that, than I shall not”, said Marge.
The moment Marge said those words, Sarge hit his cousin and shoved her in the mud. The words he said, and the actions he just did emotionally and physically hurt his cousin, but Sarge just did not care. Marge tried to stay away from her cousin on multiple occasions, but all she wanted now was for someone to understand her and to show her some kind of compassion. For the time being, Marge decided to leave Graysloup and get as far away from her cousin as possible.
Sarge decided in that moment to connect with Norg. If Marge was going to act like that, he knew Norg would be the perfect toad to do what he wanted. Sarge had to walk in dirty ditches and slide in mud until he found Norg. Sarge found Norg swimming in one of the creeks.
“Norg, there you are, I need your assistance. It is about the toads and mostly about my cousin. I trust you, and I want you to act as a spy. You must keep a close eye on Marge. She stood up to me today, and there is something not right with her”
“Sarge, I will do what you ask, but do you also want to get information in regards to the frogs as well. I know you also mess with the Fairy Frogs.”
“Right, yes, tell me about any Fairy Frog that comes here.” Sarge knew he was doing well. He wanted to do whatever he could do to hurt those Frogs and his cousin. He could not stand any of them one bit. He now could rely on Norg to tell him about any odd behavior going on.
