Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and insight he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. In Christ we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his counsel and will, so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, might live for the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit; this is the pledge of our inheritance toward redemption as God’s own people, to the praise of his glory
– Ephesians 1:3-14
This passage talks a lot about what Christ has done for us. We are children of God because we are made in his image. He leads us to redemption through his crucifixion and resurrection. Christ wanted to die for us in order to save us from our sins. Through baptism, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. To live a meaningful life, keep a strong faith and live according to his word. He has a plan for each of us and if we follow his plan, we were live life to fullest. We are led to salvation and redemption through his love and sacrifice for us. It can be difficult to live in God’s word, but trust in him and than life will become more meaningful and will seem easier. Find ways to live in God’s word every day. There are many ways to feel God’s presence. Those ways are difficult to attain every day, but usually there is a way. One quick way to feel God’s presence is to look at nature because it is God’s creation. Looking at the sunsets at my school tells me I am where I am meant to me. You can feel God’s presence during a beautiful day where you can feel the wind. To me that wind is like God’s energy passing through us. It can be hard to know if we are following God’s plan or not because some things we do are not part of God’s plan. We will sin every so often because that is part of human nature. But do not forget that God will always love us and has the capacity to forgive.
